- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Sent to Select Specialty Hospital after 3 months in another hospital where a surgical procedure had left me almost comatose and completely helpless. Many thought I was going there to die. I found out later the staff at Select Specialty are not in the business of helping people die. They are in the business of helping people learn how to live again. It's not just one or two people checking in on you once in a while but the entire staff working together as a team. And I do mean work. They worked and made me work because I literally had to relearn how to do everything. I absolutely believe in the power of prayer. Many people were praying for me and God has blessed me so many times. He put me in the care of those professional, loving people who work at Select Specialty and they gave me back my life. My family and friends were treated as though they were their family. Even my husband whom they endearingly called the firecracker.
